axolotl

my first fish (without chips)

I now have my first pet fish, Maxalotl the axolotl.

It took me a really long time to make my mum let me get a pet fish. We were originally going to get a catfish but then we heard that they would grow bigger than the tank.  So when we went back to get the fish we saw the axolotls and got one at once. This axolotl is still a baby it’s still growing it’s back left leg. I decorated the tank it’s in myself and the axolotl seems to like it a lot. He also likes to eat worms.

I also put two snails in the tank with it. I don’t think they get along well. The snails eat algae, so they can keep the glass clean, which is pretty useful with a tank. They seem to like eating the algae of the submarine. You don’t need to feed the snails although they need the right temperature to survive.  The axolotl tried to eat the snails but they could not get into it’s mouth. one of the snails went to the top of the antenna sat there for a while then the snail fell off to go back behind the sub.

So, see you on my next post.

Trains with Aaron

I like trains

In this picture Aaron has come over for a play date.  We decided that we were going to build an awesome train set. It was fun and tricky. We included some of the normal train set and some of Puzzle World. We used almost all of the normal train set and a little bit of Puzzle World.
